About Me

I am a 23 year old software engineer from the San Francisco Bay Area with a BS in Computer Science from The University of California, Davis. I graduated from General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive bootcamp in August of 2020 where I learned web development skills and was provided experience with the latest front and back-end programming languages.

My passion for software engineering stemmed from the first computer science course I took back in high school. Ever since then, I've had the pleasure of learning different modern frameworks and technologies found in today's world.

Projects

NBA Database

NBA Database is a web application where users can view NBA rosters, players, and their statistics. This project was build with PostgreSQL, Express, Node, and EJS Layouts. Styling was also made with Materialize. This project also utilizes balldontlie API for player statistics.

Slack Ticket System

This Slack Ticket System enables those in a Slack workspace to create and display tickets created by the user. These tickets would be handled by an IT department where the status, created/updated dates, and who it is assigned to will be displayed under each ticket. This project was built with Node, BoltJS, and with SlackAPI for functionality. [Due to proprietary reasons, the source code is unavailable]

Yelp Mock

Yelp Mock is a web application where users are able to view restaurants and other points of interest throughout the world. This project introduced me to Google Maps API and Places API to display these restaurants. Build with React and styled with Material-UI.
